Hoffman Beep Beep Fabric

A couple of weeks ago I received some wonderful fabric from Elissa at Kelani Fabric. (I must say beautifully presented and fast friendly delivery). It is from Hoffman's Beep Beep range.

This fabric features cars, trucks, planes and boats. I also purchased some of the co-ordinating spots and stripe fabric in similar colours. I was lucky enough to get the last of the tan fabric shown here.

And look what I managed to whip up with these lovely fabrics.

These shorts are a size 3 on a 4 year old they are a long 3/4 style with a full elastic waistband so are very versatile and could be worn for several seasons.

Here they are again size 1 on Master Macka who is 15 and 1/2 months, sooo cute.

Some coordinating T-shirts were also designed to mix and match with all of the combinations of shorts, below.

Hoffman Beep Beep shorts Tan, Striped and Blue cuffs, these are all size 3.

I have made only one of each to keep them special, however I do have enough fabric to make one or two more. If you would like a different size I can make to order if you drop me an e-mail. These shorts will be available on-line very soon.

New Business cards

While trying to get ready for my first market I was also working on updating and creating my own Business cards and swing tags. I think they came out O.K.

I love the happy feel of those dots in the background.

At the same time I had Geoff at Flemington Signs make up this hard PVC banner for the base of my clothing rack ready just in time for the big day.

My first market stall

My first market was the Sisters Market held at the Brunswick Town Hall on the 29th of November. I was very nervous that I would not sell anything!!!!

I made enough money to cover my site costs so I was very happy about that. Meanwhile Mr Macka was looking after Miss & Master Macka for the first time by himself for the whole day !!!

The house looked like a bomb went off when I get home but the bub's were well looked after so that's all that matters.

I borrowed Miss Macka's life size dolly, Tammy (80cm tall, this includes the lovely locks on top) and dressed her in one of my peasant tops and the matching skirt. She looked adorable. Tammy is also hand made by Bonnie Dolls, some very cleaver Lady's that attend the Flemington Market.

What's been happening

I thought I would give you a short overview on what has been happening at Fancy Pants 4 tots over the last few months.

Basically I have been madly sewing making new shorts, T-shirts, and Peasant tops and skirts for the girls and boys collections, in readiness for the launch of my website on the 5th of October .

Here are a few of the spring summer items now online.

For the Launch I threw a party at the studio (our house) and invited my most loyal customers to view the entire range before it was available to the general public. Sorry I forgot to take some pictures, but we had sparking wine and lots of yummy food. I has a great afternoon showcasing all of my work.

I took orders for custom work and sold several pieces from my new range. A great day was had by all. Then it was back to the sewing machine to create some more wonderful things for my first market day. More on this in the next post.

I have also been working hard on the web site trying to navigate my way around the technical side of that, not being a whiz in that department it has taken lots of late nights to get it where it is at the moment. Lots still to do!!!!!!! Then there is the Littel Mackas and Mr Macka to look after too. I'm sure all work at home mum's are nodding in agreement that it is lots of hard work but we love what we do.
