Orchard Trees

I have been busy, there is lots to tell.

I hope all the Mum's out there had a lovely Mothers day! I did!
Mr Maca helped the Little Macas produce some very "LOVELY" perfume by Sarah Jessica Parker, on Sunday morning.

I have my sewing machine back from being repaired now the over locker is having a service because it too jammed and disrupted the timing. Not very happy at all. Just when I have a back log of orders to fill!!!!!!!

In early April I ordered some lovely new fabric from Elissa at Kelani fabric.

Pippijoe's wonderful Orchard Chocolate and the Red. I have made a Long Sleeved T-shirt using the Red for Little Mr Maca and the chocolate on a long black T-shirt for Little Miss Maca. The orders have started coming in already for these ones. I will be making some more to put on the Website very soon.

Stitches and craft show

It has been over a week since the stitches and craft show now, but my head is still spinning form the very short time I had there on the Friday. My mum (a life member of the C.W.A. and a keen crafter) came from Shepparton on the train to be by my side as we cruised the aisle's and went ohhh and ahh at all the lovely things.


The Kelani Fabric stand was high on my list to visit, and to see the people behind the many blogs that I have been spending way too much time reading instead of doing more sewing and working on my own website/blog. There is not enough time in the day!!!!!!! or night.

I managed to pick up some lovely fabric from Tegan Rose in person!(Antique keys in olive and chocolate& Antique keys in dusty pink and white). Meeting the girls behind Ink & Spindle was a real buzz especially because they have a new studio in Kensington which is just down the road from me. I hope to pop in some day soon to see what lovely thing they are up to.

The Birch Forest Dusty Pink and Olive by Lara Cameron I saw at Kelani and just had to have. This will compliment my stash for some very cool pants for next spring summer's range.

Hoffman Beep Beep Fabric

A couple of weeks ago I received some wonderful fabric from Elissa at Kelani Fabric. (I must say beautifully presented and fast friendly delivery). It is from Hoffman's Beep Beep range.

This fabric features cars, trucks, planes and boats. I also purchased some of the co-ordinating spots and stripe fabric in similar colours. I was lucky enough to get the last of the tan fabric shown here.

And look what I managed to whip up with these lovely fabrics.

These shorts are a size 3 on a 4 year old they are a long 3/4 style with a full elastic waistband so are very versatile and could be worn for several seasons.

Here they are again size 1 on Master Macka who is 15 and 1/2 months, sooo cute.

Some coordinating T-shirts were also designed to mix and match with all of the combinations of shorts, below.

Hoffman Beep Beep shorts Tan, Striped and Blue cuffs, these are all size 3.

I have made only one of each to keep them special, however I do have enough fabric to make one or two more. If you would like a different size I can make to order if you drop me an e-mail. These shorts will be available on-line very soon.
